 Reviews for ‘Grounded’…

Jenny was truly fantastic! Her work was so real, honest, moving and confident. She never pushed and drew me right in. What a harrowing story! Grounded looks great, sounds great! One person shows are the toughest and she nailed it! I can’t believe she did all that on her own during a pandemic! I’m so beyond IMPRESSED!

Jenny did such a brilliant job with Grounded!!! She brought the imagery to life in the text so vividly. And the way she built the journey of the character unraveling was beautifully detailed. She was completely transformed in character - I was like whoa, where is Jenny?!? I loved her directing choices too, in filming it in one take and the style of lighting. It really evoked the right tone for me to contextualize the story, particularly the full circle moment at the end. Awesome work!!!

OMG! OMG! WOW. WOW. WOW. Jenny’s performance, and the entire production, is outstanding. Just absolutely masterful. I was with her every word. Every moment. Every breath. Incredibly haunting and powerful. I am dying to know what happened to this poor woman! Jenny’s performance must be seen. Her performance is stunning and perfect. BRAVA!!!!

I just finished watching Grounded & I loved it! I was blown away by Jenny. I was completely absorbed, which is not an easy thing to achieve when sharing theatre via a screen. It was gripping & Jenny is wonderful in it! It’s an enormous piece to tack & pull off. And it was self directed?!!! HOW did she manage that? The accent is great, I cannot believe that was self taught!

Her performance in Grounded is a bracing, moving, and altogether stunning turn.

[Grounded was] quite impressive, the character Jenny created and the performance keeps one following the whole time curious what comes next in the story. It is rare to achieve in a solo show.
